I was looking around for a more up-to-date astronomy reference book because my main reference is about 10 years old now and I found a whole bunch of free astronomy ebooks on Borders.

I went along to the BDAS public presentation on the (first Wednesday of the month) to find my self being very impressed indeed. Actual items from the space shuttle were on display. Rare items at that.

Monday night we were showing a bunch of school kids what some of the sky looked like through telescopes. A fellow club member, Brian, thought he could see a shadow transit on the surface of Saturn.
